WEEKLY WEEKEND HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES

Weekend Housekeeping duties must be performed between Friday after the end of school and Monday morning. Obtain classroom key from storage closet at the end of your last day prior to the weekend (Thursday or Friday) and sign it out in log. Key must be returned on the immediate following Monday or Tuesday and signed in at that time.

If the assigned parent is unable to work their assigned weekend, they are responsible for finding a substitute and informing the Housekeeping Chairperson of the change.

Below is a sample of the sheets in the Housekeeping notebook found in the Housekeeping closet. They detail what is to be done each week. SIGN OFF ON IN THE HOUSEKEEPING BOOK SHOWING ALL THINGS ARE DONE!

Weekend Housekeeping Duties

(All supplies are located in the cabinets above the sink and below the sink)

1. MUST DO FIRST: Clean smaller toys (those in bins and similar size) as follows:
   Lay toys on paper towels and spray with Clorox Anywhere.
   Let toys dry as you clean the rest of the room
   DO NOT SATURATE TOYS!!!
   (Skip the wooden blocks)
2. Wipe down larger toys (like toy refrigerator) with disinfectant wipes
3. Wipe window sills
4. Wipe out refrigerator with disinfectant wipes
5. Vacuum floors and carpets
6. Clean out the filter in the vacuum cleaner by scraping or wiping out the dirt in the filter
7. Sweep and Mop the floor
8. Clean sink area
9. Refill hand soap
10. Straighten all toys
11. Wipe down tables and chairs
12. Teacher's work area should be cleaned and straightened
13. Perform any special cleaning requested by teachers
14. Empty Trash (take to the parking lot side of the church, behind a fence)
