Ebony Conner - 4/5s Teacher, Enrichment Teacher
My name is Mrs. Ebony. I’m a proud wife, mother of two wonderful daughters, and Gigi to my sweet granddaughter, Chloe. I also have an adorable pup named Capone who keeps our family smiling. I’m a big Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoy traveling, cooking, shopping, dancing, and most of all, spending quality time with my loved ones. I’m passionate about helping others and making people smile.
I’ve been teaching preschool for over 17 years, and this is my third school year with BCNS—a place I truly love. In addition, I serve as the Lead Teacher for the afterschool program at Whitehall Elementary, working with students from kindergarten through fifth grade. I believe that learning should always be fun, inclusive, and rewarding, and I strive to create that environment for every child I teach.

Trish Wood - 3s Teacher
Hi, my name is Trish and I love this co-op! I'm a crunchy, fun, loving mom who realized my calling to teach later in life. All 3 of my kids have attended here totaling 7 years! I decided when my youngest aged out that I wasn't ready to leave! My favorite approach to teaching is messy makes it stick. Dr. Suess is my inspiration for my class because of all the places we are going to go! My hobbies might be more traditional but I love gardening and crocheting. I’m recently been turned onto spinning yarn, too! I’m equally as passionate about herbalism and using them for my family. I’m honored you chose me to be a guide in their development ….but know we gonna get messy!!

Krista Robertson - Assistant Teacher
Hi! My name is Krista Robertson and I'll be an assistant teacher at BCNS. I have been with BCNS for two years when my daughter enrolled in the 3s class in September 2023. I joined the board as the Treasurer in January 2024. I am currently working towards earning my CDA certificate (Child Development Associate) so that I can become a preschool teacher. I have been a Stay-At-Home Mom for the last five years and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
I really loved being in the classroom on my Parent Helper days and BCNS helped me to explore and grow that interest further as a Storytime teacher and substitute teacher.  By the time my daughter was graduating, I knew that I wanted to pursue my CDA and to teach. I feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful community.
Outside of teaching, I love to cook, bake, and take pictures - trying to capture those one-of-a-kind memories. My favorite children's book is Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae.
As a first time teacher, I hope to make your kiddos' experiences with learning and school a positive - and most importantly, fun! - one. I hope to encourage their natural curiosity for learning in fun and creative ways. I can't wait to begin my teaching journey at BCNS!
