At Belair Cooperative Nursery School, all of our classes focus on child development through play, building creativity, and instilling confidence.  A daily routine would include circle time, arts & crafts, stories, and interactive play. We also introduce our students to music, Spanish, and yoga.  Every day we provide a healthy, peanut and tree nut free snack to all of our students. Each of our classrooms always has one teacher and one parent helper.

Our school has large classroom environments with plenty of hands-on learning materials and toys to encourage interactive play.  There is plenty of space for children to actively play outside on our fenced in playground, ride tricycles, draw with chalk, or dig for treasure in the sandbox.  When weather prevents us from going outside, our school is equipped with a separate, sizable “rainy-day room” where children may climb on the great play structure or role play with dress up.

3's Class

  • 9am to 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Must be 3 years old by September 1st*
  • Maximum class size is 20 students

*Waiver granted for age 2, turning 3 during the months of Sept & Oct, with potty training and teacher approval

4/5's Class

  • 9am to 1:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
  • Must be 4 years old by September 1st
  • Maximum class size is 20 students

Focuses on:
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Numbers
  • First and last name
  • Recite address
  • Recite telephone number

Enrichment Class

  • 9am to 1:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Must be 4 years old by September 1st
  • Child is concurrently enrolled in the 4/5’s class or is a returning student
  • Maximum class size is 10 students
Focuses on:
  • Math
  • Science
*Themes may include planets, insects, and cultural traditions

Lunch Bunch

On certain days beginning in October, students are invited to bring their own packed lunch to school and stay for an additional 1.5 hours at no additional cost. Lunch Bunch is offered on the second and fourth Thursdays for the 3’s class. Lunch Bunch hours are from 12pm to 1:30pm.

Starting in September of 2026 school year, we will be offering a 3's enrichment class! This will be held on Wednesday's from 9am-12pm. Child must be 3 by September 1st and concurrently enrolled in the 3s class! Maximum class size will be 10 students! Enrichment class will focus on math and science throughout the year!
